In honor of NYFW winding down, I thought I would do a fashion related words post this week. But not your typical Carrie or Coco quote. I found this one by Miuccia Prada and felt that it rang pretty true.
Before you speak one word to someone, their clothing is what you see. You immediately make assumptions about people by how they're dressed. It's not always about judging them for what they're wearing, but more instantly learning something about someone by how they're wearing it.
My main objectives when I get dressed are to exude confidence, stay true to myself and what I like, and to be comfortable but not sloppy - fine line there -. Oh and it usually involves wearing black.
What language do you communicate with your clothes or do you even think about it? If you say you don't you're lying, so try again...
