Pillow - Jonathan Adler
Ready for a mushy paragraph before a gift guide? Read on...
Over the past few years, my Mom has become one of my best friends -I knowwwww, but really she has-. I seriously don't think I go a day without talking to her or chatting over iMessage. We love to gossip, talk about all the things we want to do to our houses, and gossip some more. She gives me great advice and she never makes me feel like she's judging me for some of the decisions I've made (even though I secretly know she probably is). She's seriously one of the best human beings I know, and I am lucky to call her my Suki (that's Mom to us kids).
So, with Mothers Day fast approaching, I thought I would help give you a few ideas on what to treat your Mama too. I mean, she only gave you life and probably helped shape you into the person you are today, so I think a nice gift is appropriate, no?
And even if you don't have a great relationship with your Mom or if she is no longer with us, I'm sure there are other Mommy's in your life who deserve a little lovin'...
1.) For the Mama who likes to get her vino on....
Card - Julie Ann Art :: Carafe - Crate & Barrel
2.) For that Mom who likes to get her hands dirty...in the garden.
Card - Rifle Paper Co. :: Heritage Vegetable Seeds - Terrain
3.) For the Mother who taught you the definition of style
Card - Sugar Paper LA :: Book - Furbish Studio
And lastly, if you're short on money, don't ever underestimate the importance of a quality card and some flowers. A good card is key to make going this route legit, and I'm pretty sure I expressed the IMPORTANCE of greeting cards to you here and here.
xx - C
Great presents - my mum would get the Wino card for sure!
