Soooo, I'm doing something I never, ever, EVER thought I would do. I'm going back to school.
Well I'm not really 'going' anywhere. Thanks to the miracles of the modern world, I can take classes from the comfort of my own home. Can you believe it?! Me, taking on-line classes. Ha! Even typing that feels weird, but good, but weird! I'm officially a 'student' as of 7:00pm last Friday night.
I'm going to be taking an interior design course and I couldn't be more excited. While I'm not one to always follow the norm when it comes to the design and decor that I admire or put in my own home, I am aware that there are certain rules and guidelines that most designers follow that I need to learn. I'm also super excited to sketch floor plans, learn how to present to future clients -eeek, clients, can you imagine!?-, and just learn something new in general.

I can't wait to start -- supplies from the school are en route to my house as I type! I'm sure I'll share my progress and projects on the blog...well, as long as they're good I will.
Do you think this means I get a student discount places if I show my school i.d.? Fingers crossed.
